The Bed and Breakfast is located in a renovated section of an ancient Tuscan country house. It consists of a double bedroom, a living room, and a bathroom. In the bedroom, you will find a double bed, bedside tables, and a chest. The bathroom is equipped with a toilet, bidet, console sink, and a 90x90 cm shower. In the living room, there is a table with 4 chairs, a sofa bed, a sideboard, and a display cabinet. The interiors are of high quality, with handcrafted parquet floors and hand-painted ceramics. Some furniture dates back to the 1800s and has been restored. The property has all modern amenities, including wifi and a refrigerator. The heating is underfloor, the windows are equipped with mosquito nets, and most importantly, the entire building is classified as energy class A, ensuring perfect summer climatic comfort without the need for electromechanical equipment such as air conditioners. The entrance is completely independent. The garden, furnished with metal furniture, and the parking area are exclusively reserved for guests of the property. The room is completely soundproofed.
The structure is equipped with everything necessary to prepare hot drinks while the desserts and preparations will be prepared directly by Barbara with local products. These will be served in a communication compartment equipped with 2 doors, one of which can be managed exclusively from inside the suite, making customers free to choose the times, methods and place in which to consume (bedroom, living room, garden). Over time, the solution has been greatly appreciated by customers who consider it an uncommon plus in freedom

Casa al Fiume is a typical Tuscan rural building, originally used as a barn for the nearby farmhouse, dating back to the early 19th century. The current owners have recently restored the property, respecting the local traditions and the surrounding environment. Today, Casa al Fiume is a welcoming retreat for those who wish to immerse themselves in the most authentic and unspoiled nature. Located just a few steps from the main road, the house is nestled in greenery, in an enchanting position surrounded by dense vegetation and protected by the waters of the Ciuffenna river, which encircles the property. In this charming setting, guests can enjoy a comfortable stay, in harmony with the landscape, and surrounded by the relaxing sounds of nature. Casa al Fiume is also an ideal base for exploring the main Tuscan cities such as Siena, Florence, and Arezzo, all easily reachable in a short time to admire their artistic and cultural beauty. Furthermore, from here it is possible to take day trips to the splendid towns of the region, such as Gaiole and Radda along the Chianti Road, or Montepulciano, Cortona, Pienza, San Gimignano, and many others. This makes the experience unique, complete, and therefore unforgettable. The property is located about 50 meters from the owners' house, who can provide assistance to guests while ensuring complete privacy. Interiors: The house is spread over two levels. On the ground floor, the entrance leads to the living area, a spacious open space that includes a living room with a wood stove, a sofa bed, and a smart TV, as well as a kitchen with a dining area. This floor also has a double bedroom and a bathroom with a bathtub and shower. A wooden staircase from the living room leads to the master bedroom located on the upper floor. Park: The property extends over about 40,000 square meters, mostly covered by woods and arable land. Around the house, the garden features a large lawn dotted with aromatic plants, olive trees, hazelnut trees, oaks, and fruit trees. Next to the kitchen, a pergola covered with jasmine provides a shaded area with a table and chairs for outdoor dining in an atmosphere of peace and tranquility. A masonry barbecue, located a few meters from the house, is available to guests for delicious barbecues. For those who wish to cool off in the waters of the Ciuffenna river, fish, or simply admire the natural scenery, a short path through the walnut grove bordering the property, just beyond the pool, leads to the river. Note: The property photos are usually taken in spring, so the colors and blooms of the gardens may differ upon your arrival. Swimming Pool: The swimming pool is located on a lower level than the house, about 20 meters away, and is accessible via a paved ramp that starts from the pergola in front of the house. The pool measures 12 x 6 meters, with a depth ranging from 1.40 to 2.40 meters. The basin is lined with PVC and equipped with a ladder for water access. The filtration system is chlorine-based, and internal lighting allows for evening swims. Around the pool, a sunbathing area, partially paved with terracotta and partly covered with grass, offers sunbeds and deck chairs for relaxing in the sun. A gazebo with chairs and a table provides a shaded spot for relaxing moments, surrounded by the sounds of nature, such as birdsong and the gentle flow of the nearby river. The pool is open from May 1st to October 31st.
Hi, I'm Fulvio. I take care of the farm, I am passionate about music, reading and I enjoy 'playing' the guitar.
But the real soul of the structure is my wife Barbara. Once known, you can find her in everything that is offered by the living room. She loves to cook, entertain with guests and is a very good painter.
We have 2 daughters Sofia and Sara, our affectionate dog Nana and three very cute cats: Tigre, Ivy and Fiore.
We have created the Bed and Breakfast from an outbuilding of our farmhouse with the desire to share the enormous fortune of living in such a suggestive corner of Tuscany where Nature is the true mistress!
The structure, created in an old farmhouse, has undergone a recent and profound renovation. Valuable finishing materials have been used and perfect summer and winter air conditioning has been obtained without the aid of air conditioners.
The farm is located in a wide bend of the Ciuffenna stream (suitable for bathing) protected upstream by a steep escarpment which defines the beginning of the typical 'Balze del Valdarnò. This situation makes the environment unique for physical, acoustic and light insulation but at the same time particularly close to all services (the provincial road is only 350m away).
Everything is near the town of Loro Ciuffenna (2 km), one of the most beautiful villages in Italy, in the center of Tuscany (Florence 45 mins, Arezzo 30 mins, Siena 50 mins, Chianti 30 mins) and particularly served by the main ways of communication. The motorway is 7 km away, the railway is 8 km away, the Florence airport is 50 km away.
